Hi
I'm looking for a superb Presentation skills course for one of our senior managers. I want to send her on an open course so she can learn from other perspectives as she has worked for one company for a long time and a new view may be a side benefit.
Anyone used a provider that was outstanding?
She's based in the West Midlands, but will travel for the right course
Thanks
Anthony

what type of presentations?
Hi Anthony
With regard to her learning objectives, what type of presentations does she need to improve/what is her predominant presentation objective/what is her main audience target/is there a specific medium of presentation that is relevant.
For example a "superb" presentation skills course aimed at presenting in crises on TV or ar press conferences is unlikely to be helpful if her primary need is to present technical data to prospective buying clients in small meeting scenarios.

Blatant Self Promotion
Seeing as nobody else has made any suggestions, I’ll put myself forward. I run one day Effective Business Presentation courses, based on the mnenomic OSRAM, which stands for the 5 aspects of a business presentation, Objective, Speaker, Room,Audience and Message.
The courses are mainly in the South of England, the nearest I get to the midlands is Oxford, the next course there is on 12th October.
If you would like more information visit http://www.businesspresentation.biz or give me a call on 01276 502257.

Presentation Skills
Rather than send your senior manager on a course, which is likely to be a one off event, I would recommend sponsoring her to join Toastmasters.
It’s not about formal "men in red coats" Toastmasters, it is an organisation which is about encouraging people to develop their public speaking skills, amongst other things.
Generally clubs meet twice a month and members are encouraged to practice formal, prepared presentations and speeches as well as impromptu speaking in a frindly supportive atmosphere. Speakers are always given helpful feedback on what they did well and where they can improve.
To find a suitable local club look on http://www.toastmasters.org or http://www.d71.org.
As well as ongoing development for your manager it is also a lower cost alternative.
I have a feeling
I suspect you are now swamped with courses that would work for your manager. So not sure you will want yet another offer but…. At Explosive learning Solutions we have both a cots product that we run in Harwell or can put together a bespoke product for you which means individuals who have trained at the highest level in this area can work with your manager on a one-to-one basis. Would love to talk more.
Stand and Deliver: Presentation skills masterclasses
Hello – like others I’m not sure whether I should be advertising my own training here, but you did ask for suggestions of courses, and this is one, so here goes!
I am running one-day presentation skills masterclasses in Taunton on 14th October and Radstock, near Bath on 26th October. These events are designed for experienced presenters and speakers who want to inject a new lease of life into their presentations, are seeking new and engaging ways to get their message across, and want to really make an impact and keep their audience engaged. There will be a maximum of 8 people in each group to allow for plenty of individual attention. The day will cover:
