There has been much debate about the effectiveness of such Outdoor Management Development programmes and their relevance to managerial issues. However, little has been raised with respect to the transference of the skills learned back into the work environment.

This topic is the focus of my dissertation project. I am looking for providers of this form of training and managers who are planning on using it as a form of development, to participate in a short interview. These will ideally take place in January or February.

To complete my research I need to speak to the particpants of training events both immediately after the training, and again after a short period back in the work environment. So managers who have events organised in January would be ideal.

Any other views on this issue, from training providers, managers or those who have participated in such an event, would be welcomed.
