Hello All,
Does anyone have any practical exercises to demonstrate Quality Improvement.
I am trying to demonstrate the importance of using procedures, the benefit of adapting procedures to meet needs and the problems in not using.
Thanks in anticipation

Video?
Hi Steve,
It’s getting a bit old now, however the Video Arts ‘The Customer is Always Dwight’ worked well for me as part of a quality improvement programme.
Kind regards,

Quality Improvement Activity
Steve
We use very basic activities such as getting the group to map out a process using post-its (e.g. going to the supermarket, booking a holiday). We then get them to suggest improvements from the customers’ point of view (e.g. easier access, home delivery etc) and from the supplier’s point of view. We end up with very different processes and discuss the importance of meeting customer needs but still being focused on the bottom line. Hope this helps, feel free to e-mail me for any more information.
