Suggestion for a fairly brief activity
I facilitate a 3 day retirement preparation course and use lots of individual and group activities. Does the activity you have in mind relate to coping with change, managing money, relationships, health or use of time? I assume that with only 2 hours you will only be planning to look at company/state pensions and perhaps income tax. Do you have a particular learning outcome in mind? What do you hope the activity will achieve? What will they know after completing the activity that they didn’t know when they first entered the room?
One activity I use is to ask them to write a list, individually, of what retirement means to them. Then I ask them to put a plus sign against the positive aspects and a minus sign against the negative aspects. They can do this in 5 minutes but then feedback/discussion needs additional time.

SWOT analysis
Perhaps as part of pre course activity those attending could prepare a SWOT analysis. Their Internal Strengths and Weakness & the external Opportunities & Threats.
Although you don’t have time, they could take this (SWOT)away with them and impose that over a problem solving model : PESTEL – Political, Environmental,Social,Technical,Economic & Legal eg Technical – what would their SWOT look like imposed on this? What’s their Technical Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat.
When this is complete for all of the PESTEL, it will help them get a clearer picture of what may or may not be available to them (& what the difficulties might be + a solution)
