We have a need to replace a Presenation Skills trainer. I've been looking around and found numerous but due to the nature of our organisation we need one who has experience of working/delivering in the scientific field. Can anyone recommend someone?

Presentation Skills Trainer
Dear Allison,
I may be able to help if you are still looking for someone. I have my own business offering such training. I worked at Amersham/GE for nearly 12 years so have experience also from the scientific side of things too.
Kind regards
Frances

Forgive if I am being a bit thick here, but why is there so much emphasis on ‘scientific presentation skills’? Surely if a trainer is worth their salt, as it were, then some research into the subject matter that is required to be presented should result in a good quality presentation.
A professional approach is surely more important than the scientific know how – the best technical people don’t always make the best technical managers or indeed trainers so a good ‘professional trainer/presenter should be able to suit your purposes as much if not better than a ‘scientist’.
