Put the FUN back into your life…

default-16x9

If you're not having FUN in your life, then what are you doing?

Life is for living and if you're not living; you're...!
"Oh to be a child again"...some would say

"To be carefree and with no worries"...others may comment

As children we can't wait to grow up, and as adults we often wish we were young again. Why is that?

In the case of children we forget how much fun we're having; because we want to be able to do adult things like earning money, buying new clothes or staying out late.

In the case of adults we can get caught up with all the serious things in life; and before we know it we're not having any fun at all.

A life without FUN... WOW... How would that feel?

'Each day a drudge, always feeling the same, nothing to look forward to, no memories to hold dear when times get tough...'

This last week has been full of fun times:- Valentine's Day, Pancake Day and half-term (for some of us).
Those looking forward to going back to work, ask yourself; What fun did I have during half term? Hold those thoughts and go back to them. Share those pictures on Facebook or video clips on YouTube.

You may be in work tomorrow and whilst you should be having fun, many people see work as being just work.
Those who sent or received a Valentine's card, you will have entered into the spirit and had some fun.
Those who tucked into some pancakes on Tuesday, how much fun did you have?

FUN is so important in our lives, yet so often under-rated. Fun is one of our values at Rise & Shine.

Don't be afraid to have fun. Life is serious enough,  if you don't inject some fun into every day, it can leave you feeling a little empty inside. Have a little fun along the way and it will lighten peoples moods, allowing you to achieve more

Fact: teams that play together, stay together.

Think about the best team you have ever been part of - it may be in work or in your personal life.
The likelihood is; you were having FUN when being part of that team...
Ask yourself; Are you in that team now? Are you having fun in your current team?

Remember: The opposite of fun is boring (or dull) - which would you rather?

I draw a lot of my inspiration from my friends & family and also from our children.
Our daughter (from Do YOU think you can - the 25ft climbing frame) helped me write this week's blog. This is what she had to say about FUN.

Becca's words...

Fun is playing with Alex, Dad or Mum or with friends in the snow. Fun also helps me to learn and without fun the world will be miserable

Whatever you're doing this week, have some fun along the way.

As always, thank you for continuing to read, comment and vote on my blog.
