Need quality CBT packages for the main Microsoft applications - Word, Access etc for distance learning. Need minimal paper-based resource, capable of being networked with progress reviews/assessment/feedback etc. Any recommendations?

You may like to have a look at the Teach Yourself Section of our website – http://www.office-associates.co.uk. It gives outlines of a range of CBT and Multimedia training which would be suitable for your needs.

lots of suppliers, write your own or we can write for you.
Dear Sheila
There are lots of products available and I would be delighted to discuss the range most appropriate to your needs. You can always write your own packages, or we can write tailor made courses for you – get your people to learn the things they need to learn for their job role, shorter training times, more effective training, better use of the training budget.
There are many Learner Management Systems available, most with similar functionality but radically differing pricing structures.

Programmes I have used
I have used the “Teaching You Microsoft Office 2000” suite of CD-Roms and found them very helpful (and they are very inexpensive) so long as you don’t mind American accents. http://www.teaching-you.com
I used them in conjunction with the European Computer Driving Licence materials produced by the Cleveland Training Centre, which were a very good text based set of materials. The contact there is a chap called Paul Simpson on 01642 560013
