I am currently developing an induction programme for a new client. To be successful within the role a good level of UK geography is required. Although this is being addressed as part of the recruitment process I would like to back this up with some sort of training within the induction programme. Does anyone have any ideas how I can approach this or any tried and tested methods? Many Thanks in advance

Geography quiz with prizes
People are competitive and love quizzes so give them all a geography quiz in advance. Some easy questions, some tough questions, some funny questions, some silly questions. The more time they have to discover the answers the better. They can co-operate. Then give prizes for the best results.

I have trained both UK and worldwide geography and I have found that amusing, unusual facts or stories, landmarks, history about each location worked well. Using the internet you will be able to find some memorable information about places. I hope this helps.
