The CIPD SIG is about meeting the development needs of training professionals. The focus of the new programme is on providing a flexible and responsive mechanism for everyone in training. The first event is the "Learning Matters" workshops reflecting the themes of the Glasgow Learning Festival. 3 participative workshops including widening access using the "Learning Works" model; there's a "Cooks Tour" of how on-line training can be introduced into organisations as well as a workshop on accessing personal creativity and innovation. This event is free for all participants. The event is being held on September 26 in the Central Business Learning Zone, Central College of Commerce, 190 Cathedral Street, Glasgow.
