Big Brother psychologist and author Peter Collett will explore why actions speak louder than words at HRD 2004 in April.

Collett will look at non-verbal communication to help managers focus on the signs they unwittingly send and understand the influence these might have on their employees.

The conference, held by the CIPD, has over 40 seminars, linking case studies, interactive workshops and debates. Speakers include former Olympic athlete Sally Gunnell on how to motivate yourself and your team and Camilla Aitchison, Director of Management Development at Dixons Group Plc, on how to make good leaders great

HRD 2004 takes place at Olympia on April 20-22.
