Hi there,
I am trying to recruit an IT Trainer and have not had too much luck with recruitment agencies so far! Many of the CVs I've had major on the IT side (to the point of being really technical) with very little nod towards training. For me, the key skills I am looking for are weighted on the training side, not IT but so far I've had no luck. Does anyone have a recruitment agency they would recommend or other avenues they have found to be sucessful?

IT Trainer
There are a number of options available to you.
Contact some of the HR agencies as they have trainers on their books some with IT skills.
Place an advert on totaljobs.com or changeboard.com (about £300 I think)
Place an advert on trainerbase.co.uk-not sure of cost.
Good luck

Online options
Hi Jenny
http://www.bookatrainer.com tend to have a large selection of IT trainers – with the focus on training skills. http://www.trainerbase.com have a range of trainers for you to search through, and you can post an advert free of charge. You may also want to try looking through a site like http://www.changeboard.com, where you can place an advert specifically for HR and training staff.
Best of luck
Kirsten
Where are you?
Hi Jenny,
Whereabouts are you? I found my job through Armstrong Appointments in Witney, Oxfordshire. They advertised it on http://www.fish4jobs.co.uk. I also job-hunted on http://www.totaljobs.com.
Hope this helps.
