I am currently working with a large team (450 staff) based over five different UK locations, which is going through a major business transformation programme, where restructuring and redundancies are likely. We are in the process of putting together a range of interventions to support staff through the transition and it was suggested that an external speaker, who could understand what staff are going through, would be useful as part of this offer. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me on: kay_wren1940@yahoo.co.uk Many thanks Kay

Guest speaker
Hi Kay
not sure who to contact in relation to getting him but James Cracknell gave a talk at my company which described his battle crossing the atlantic with Ben Fogle – a real inspirational story which was highly amusing but also highlighted change and how we all deal with it – may be worth investigating! (plus all of the ladies had their pictires taken with him whilst swooning!)

Get them to read a book
Ask them to read Who Moved My Cheese?: An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life
Some companies go even as far as a giving a free copy of this book to every employee, though as always you need to judge for applicability and appropriateness.
It will inspire many and you can then complement it with a speaker who can talk on the topic. Alternatively you can present the book. There are slides and content available on this on the net which you can use.
Hope this helps
