I am currently writing a recruitment and selection course for first line managers in my organisation. I want to get across the importance of their recritment decisions and the impact if they make the wrong decisions. I am looking for information on ET claims or case studies where an organisation has been compromised due to a poor recruitment decision. Anything that highlights this would be really useful. - Thanks !

why not stay close to home?
Hi Fiona
I don’t want to poo-poo your request but why not stay close to home?
If you asked the DELEGATES “What examples do YOU know of where a poor recruitment decision has effected the employer?” I’d be prepared to bet that they’d come up with some real life, relevant and probably commonly known examples. They would probably also look at the effect the failing had on people as well as on the organisation…that always seems to make it more pertinent to folk.
If you want a real life example I can share one with you but I’d rather keep it out of the public domain to protect the innocent! Give me a call or e-mail me if you want to follow that up
