Hi all
We are going to be running an away-day for a client and the MD has recently come a cross this game which he thought would be good to do. Apparently there are 2 teams and they have to between them get a positive result. Each team is in a separate room and they have to decide which colour they are going to state. There are different scores depending on which combination of colours the 2 teams state. They get very competitive before they realise it's about trust and collaboration.
I've come across something similar but have not got any notes about it.
The away day is this Thursday so if anyone has a copy I'd be grateful
Thanks
Sue

If I recall there are at least one of this game on Trainerbase. Mike Morrison has one called ‘Prisoners Dilemma Red Blue Yellow Green’ 3 team. This can be found at http://www.trainerbase.co.uk/VIP/VIP_Resources.asp?UserID=4174
Others would be available on the Downloads page at http://www.trainerbase.co.uk/ResourcesShop/

Game theory
Sue,
You are referring to one of the many, many variations of Prisoner’s Dilemma. More info on this well establised element of game theory can be found here.

Red and Black
Hi Sue,
I’ve got a copy of this. I’m not sure where it came from so I’m not keen to upload it for copyright reasons. If you drop me a line I’ll forward it to you.
All the best
