how long is a piece of string?
Presuming that we are talking about recruitment interviewing…..
If someone interviews regularly they may not need refresher training, but if they seldom interview, they may benefit unless they reread their notes/have a sensible process in place to act as an aide memoir.
But if someone interviews badly…..then they may need retraining or "managing"…..
It will also be dependent upon changing legislation and methodology; if there are new laws regarding questions one can and cannot justify asking in interview, then people need to be made aware, this may require training or could be covered another way. If the organisation is moving towards telephone, or live online, interviewing this also may require some refresher.
It is also be worth considering linking exit interviews with the TNA for interview training, especially where new starters leave "prematurely"; was the interview partly to blame for the failure of the new starter to become a long term staff member.
I hope that helps
