Sales Staff Motivation Levels

default-16x9

Hello
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions they could share with me for maintaining enthusiasm/motivation levels for staff who have to spend a lot of their day cold calling to generate their own portfolio of clients?
Despite the staff involved firmly believing in the product, having comprehensive knowledge of it and being fully aware that this type of activity is a ‘numbers game’, by the end of the day/week they are starting to flag and I would really like to help them.
Thanks very much
Lucy

  1. Ideas
    Hi Lucy

    Few ideas for you

    – Be hopelessly enthusiastic yourself

    – Arrange sales games for the staff to focus on, this can really help e.g. two members go head to head for a morning to see who can get the most appointments, loser buys the coffee.

    – Do team briefs that incorporate a little idea that they can implement

    – Keep up to date on the latest sales and appointment setting techniques and share with your team consistently

    – Celebrate success, a bell or so other “fun” way of letting everyone know they have had a success.

    – Give everyone recognition that would motivate them

    – Get on a social on a friday, a swifty down the pub can do wonders for team bonding and overall morale

This is a particular area of specialism for me, so if you’d like to talk more, you can get me on [email protected]

    Best Wishes
