1. Overall Purpose
To lead the sales strategy and implementation of the company in line with the business plan. To create a sales team across Europe that sets new standards in terms of both sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

¨ to build and motivate the leading online courseware sales team in Europe
¨ to build and motivate the leading online courseware telesales team in Europe
¨ to lead the sales functions so that the company continues to have the most effective online courseware sales team in Europe - and thereby to hit or surpass all sales goals
¨ to work closely with the marketing team to ensure effective sales lead generation and market positioning in line with agreed overall marketing goals
¨ to contribute effectively to the ongoing strategic development of the company
¨ to work effectively with the development and delivery teams to make the average customer experience exceptional
3. Person Specification
¨ a person of vision, capable of seeing future directions in online learning and interpreting this for others to implement
¨ has a depth of successful experience at establishing and running an international sales function
¨ has demonstrated an innovative and successful approach to high value software sales to corporate customers, including at board level, with a strong customer service ethos
¨ has a driving ambition to succeed
¨ has excellent people management skills, especially building successful teams and maximising the performance of sales colleagues
¨ is an effective communicator with customers as well as internal people, including large presentations, to communicate clear messages and to inspire others to act
¨ located either in the North West or South East of England, and happy to travel as needed throughout Europe
¨ is a person of integrity

Development Director
1. Overall Purpose
To lead the development and delivery of best in class online courseware for management development and other sectors identified by the company. To create new standards for online course design and development, and to lead the industry in creating optimal online delivery methods.

¨ to build and motivate the leading online courseware development team in Europe
¨ to build and motivate the leading online delivery team in Europe
¨ to vision the future of online content, and to make this a reality in the company
¨ to lead the technical functions so that the company continues to have the most effective online courseware in Europe
¨ to instigate the optimal technical infrastructure for online course delivery, including online commercial and customer help facilities, to facilitate cost effective and smooth course delivery
¨ to contribute effectively to the ongoing strategic development of the company
¨ to work effectively with the sales and marketing teams to make the average customer experience exceptional
3. Person Specification
¨ a person of vision, capable of seeing future directions in online learning and interpreting this for others to implement
¨ has a depth of successful experience at establishing and running an online learning group, including
- multimedia production
- audio/video production
- Internet deployment
- online facilitation
¨ has demonstrated an innovative and successful approach to online learning content design
¨ has experience of working successfully across at least two learning management systems
¨ has hands-on skills in most of the following:
- web design
- leading multimedia packages
- Notes/Domino development
¨ has a ruthless approach to quality and detail
¨ has a driving ambition to succeed
¨ has excellent people management skills, especially building successful teams and managing performance of intuitive and potentially eccentric colleagues
¨ is an effective communicator with customers as well as internal people, including large presentations, to communicate clear messages and to inspire others to act
¨ happy to be based in Cheshire, UK, and to travel as needed throughout Europe
