I have been requested to supply my policies on policies on:

·         Health & Safety

·         Equal Opportunities

·         Data Security

·         Lone Working

·         Safe Guarding

in line with current legislation and best practice - could someone please signpost me to a source of relevant templates/information. Any information will be gratefully received

    Try HSE, Equal Opportunities Commision, Union websites like UNITE, CIPD…

  2. it rather depends on YOUR business……

    ….eg how many people are you? What level of data do you collect and hold, in what formats and how many places…..lone working; just in the office or at client sites; are client sites private homes or offices or industrial facilities, what type of customers are you serving?

    I did a project a few years ago for a small charity and my approach (which was very successful) was to seek out policies from organisations with strong similarities; eg my client worked with former prisoners; we went to the probation service for lone working policy.
