I am interested in any training organisation that can offer training in the Six Sigma in relation to quality. Six Sigma embraces leanness and simplicity and enable productivity gains and offer a vehicle for culture change. If there are no courses available, does anyone know of any publications on this subject?

Try Dunchurch Management College
In the past Dunchurch Management College have run Six Sigma programmes, and as far as I’m aware still do. I’ve used them for other training in the past and standards have been good, so I think they would be worth a look. Phone no. there is 01788 810656. Hope it’s useful.

Lean Manufacturing

Six Sigma at GE
General Electric (GE) are heavily committed to the use of six sigma throughout the organisation – you may find that some of the writings of Jack Welch (available via Amazon, et al) will give you some insight. Also I seem to remeber that one of the Tom Peters books (Passion for Excellence????) looked at the GE approach to quality as a case study.
