The Sector Skills Council for Retail is the latest department to open at Selfridges in central London.
Skillsmart Retail, who recently secured their full five-year licence from the Department for Education and Skills, had outgrown the premises provided by the British Retail Consortium.
Unable to find a suitable alternative Skillsmart Retail looked to the industry for support.
Nigel Broome, chief executive of Skillsmart Retail said: "Selfridges came to the rescue with an offer we could not refuse. The offices are perfectly suited to our needs, being situated in the heart of the UK's retail sector, Selfridges is as good an address as you can get not only given its significance to the sector but also in terms of its central location."
