Spend Per Employee

default-16x9

Hi,

Are there are any latest studies that anyone can point me to, looking at how much organisations are spending on learning per employee - or number of days for learning per year in recent years, please?

Thanks,

Nicola

I was just about to ask the same question!

My budget for the 2014/15 financial year works out at £400 per employee. We have 200 employees. This is worth bearing in mind as you often see the greater the population of staff the less per head you get.

I'd be interested to see what others get.

  2. Spend per employee, benchmarking

I'm looking for the same information also, specifically what are the average no of training days per month in the manufacturing sector….. any ideas where I can go?   Been googling for a while now with little luck …..

    Thank you

  3. Thanks for getting in touch.

Thanks for getting in touch.  I'm reading "Informal Leaving at Work" and Paul Matthews is saying "the median annual training budget per employee was £276 for 2012, less than the previous year's figure of £350.  The median number of formal training hours employees receive per year was 24, again a reduction on the previous years".

We are an engineering organisation and spend around £500 per employee per annum.  We're continuing the cultural issues of learning not necessarily training courses, so was hoping for more to be out there on other sections/organisations.

    Nicola
