statistics on classroom v on-line learning

I am currently doing my City & Guilds 7307 part 2 and as part of the course I need to do an edducational issue. I have picked the subjects of classroom training and on-line training but don't know where to get any statistics from. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might start looking.
