Stories
As far as possible, make it true. You can embellish certains facts, but it's much easier to remember and animate a story that really happened.
Work most on the opening line and closing. Too many stories end with "Ummm, so that's it… thanks!" Then practice them.
Keep the detail high level. It matters that people can identify with the story. Detail places or people if they add to the story, but leave out anything that doesn't take your story further.
