1. Visioning, etc
   Brian,
   This topic is something that we ‘tackled’ a couple of years ago.. The starting point was in understanding about a ‘vision’ and in particular an article from Quality Progress magazine by John R. Latham, entitled “Visioning: The Concept, Trilogy, and Process”, which included an eight step method to creating a vision, but one which used the knowledge and creativity of the organisation and its people.
   We were very wary of other solutions offered, in that they almost all tended to overlay a model of some description onto the organisation, rather than encouraging the organisation to use, or acquire, some knowledge and ‘just do it for itself’.
