I somehow came across a survey that indicated that training only accounts for 10%, coaching for 20% and 70% from On-the-Job training for individual effectiveness.
Does anyone have this survey and share with me please?
Great thanks,
Alice Ma

Rummler and Brache
Hi Alice!
Not sure if this is exactly the one you’re looking for, but the fact that training accounts for just 10 percent of performance improvement, was cited by Rummler and Brache in their ground-breaking book about performance improvement in the workplace, “Improving Performance: How to Manage the White Space on the Organization Chart”.

They then went on to list a number of different factors that make up the remaining 90 percent, that included the day-to-day support they received from others.

Help Wanted
Hi Tim,
I’ve got the book but it didn’t provide the survey I’m looking for. But thanks so much anyway.
