survey questions and statistics

default-16x9

I'm developing a survey to training companies, the answers of which will be made available to those who filled it out. What kind of questions do you think would get answers that other trainers would find interesting? What statistics would be valuable?

  1. Objective of the survey?
Tom, what do you hope the survey will achieve? What information do you intend to gather? Sorry but without that it’s almost impossible to start suggesting potential questions.

  2. questions for trainers

    Hi Clare,

Thanks for your note. To clarify and to make a long story short, I manage http://www.TrainingSpotting.com, a website which has trainers as its main audience, provides them with knowledge and expertise, whereas it’s also a directory of L&D providers helping buyers of services making sense of who’s out there.

I think there are a lot of things trainers would be interested in finding out about trends in the profession, what others  trainers are doing to keep up or grow their business, how others are doing in this recession, what strategies they’re adopting, etc. My thoughts were that survey would help them get answers (as whoever fills it out will receive the results of the survey) to these kinds of questions, but I’m not really sure what the questions should be, what trainers would like to know the answers to.

    Would really appreciate any help,

    Thanks again,

    Tom
