default-16x9

The BBC Tomorrow's World Live event, in association with the Department for Education and Employment, is a five-day live spectacular created in conjunction with the world famous BBC TV programme. So take a journey into the future that will change and shape the way you think about tomorrow. There will be so much to see, do and learn at this unique event: design the car of your dreams, learn how to extract DNA, find out how to clone your dog, find out what the future holds for education in the 21st century and maybe even discover your dream job.

"Visiting the Tomorrow's World Live event this week will give lots of people the opportunity to learn about the many new products and services that may await us in the new century. However, there is one thing thing we know for certain about the Tomorrow's World we are about to enter - learning for all of us will more than ever. In order to succeed as individuals and as a modern competitive society we have to become a society made up of learning individuals. This is why the Government has been investing so strongly in raising standards in literacy and numeracy, in a far reaching programme of widening access to new technologies and in encouraging lifelong learning. Our association with this event demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that all of us can be ready to enter the Tomorrow's World of the 21st century." David Blunkett
