team building options

default-16x9

Hello

I have a very good client who has an annual team building event and I'm looking for recommendations for interesting organisations to potentially partner with to run this years event.

We've done the out doors low ropes type stuff so are looking for something that might help stimulate creative thinking and also allow us to tap into some assertiveness awareness discussions.  It also has to have an enjoyable social element to it.

We've already rejected chocolate making - and probably foody stuff in general because it just doesn't appeal to them enough.

I already have some contacts who do arty type things and have also suggested horse whispering (I know it was popular a few years ago).

Who can you recommend who uses interesting techniques as part of this type of event?

Thanks.

  1. Police Trainer

    Hi Stella

    I would recommend this chap…http://www.afterdinnerspeaker.co.uk/talks.html

Hes a former Met Police Trainer and lots of interesting stuff…I’ve attended a couple of them and "Who Killed The Baronness" and "Lucifers Riddle" was really good. I’m sure he has lots of other ideas for your event.

    Good luck

    Steve

  2. Teambuilding options

    Hi Stella

A friend of a friend does ‘horse whispering’ (in Oxfordshire) if you do decide to follow this option up – happy to put you in touch with her if you’d like.

I would recommend a Bike Build for Charity.  I have conducted this many times with overwhelming success!  It is great for the teambuilding side and giving back to community.  If you would like more details please write me at margie@edgeworkconsulting.com

    Cheers

  5. Team building ideas

Our website has a wide variety of ideas. If you’re specifically looking to inspire creativity then Together We Can has four different creative components which combine very effectively.

If you’re looking for the type of communication lessons that can come from working with animals Duck Herding is also effective and can be run as part of an event with different activities so you can achieve the ‘something for everyone’ outcome.
