Team Effectiveness Assessment

default-16x9

Hi All,

Developing a high performing team is an area of focus for the business that I work in and I am looking to tap into the breadth of knowledge of this great group. I am looking for a good assessment questionaire that I can use to provide targetd development and activities to enhance team effectiveness.

I have been testing the Patrick Lencioni - 5 dysfunctions of a team but was wondering if there are others that people could recommend.

If there are free resources that would be a bonus!

The stratgey I plan on taking is once the assessment is complete then I would work with these teams over a period of time touching base at reqular intervals instead of a one to two day workshop.

If you need more clarity please let me know.

Cheers

Brendon

  2. GRIPS

    Hi Brendon

GRIPS assessment is a simple and ongoing way to monitor teamworking, you'll find a copy of the questionnaire and some notes on its (very straightforward) use in the book "Team Management Secrets" (HarperCollins ISBN 978-0-00-734112-2) by Rus Slater. The book also contains 49 other tips and techniques that may be useful.

  3. I live and breath HPTs

Hi Brendan – creating and sustaining High Performing Teams is something I’ve been working on with my organisation for the last couple of years, with some great successes.  I have loads of material that I’d be happy to share, one piece in particular, the Team Strength Audit is probably what you are looking for.  If you message me, I’d be happy to let you have a copy and help in any other way I can.

  4. 5 Dysfunctions programme

    Hi Brendon.

I met the company that has started to market a version of the book as a Team Development programme at the WOLCE recently.

If you wish to explore that as an avenue (obviously not free) feel free to contact Yvonne Johnson at Wiley.com. Yvonne is one of their Directors and might be able to advise.

  5. assessments and training materials available Sales 101

    Hi,

You can have a look at the resources we have available. It sounds like one of our in tray exercises could be of use to you.

The in-tray exercise will test your candidate’s suitability for the position focusing on the specific set of competencies you are recruiting for. By the end of the in tray exercise, you will have clear evidence  of their skill set.

    Have a look at http://www.sales-101.co.uk

I hope that we can be of some help.

    All the best,

    Danny
