what are the various technology based training delivery methods?
Basically one could divide them in two main groups : computer (or CD-ROM) based and web based training (also known as CBT and WBT). They are all dependend on modern software technologies and one at least has to take into account one thing:
Tracability of the student activities: as E-learning takes place outside the direct reach of a teacher, this becomes ever more important in order to give the appropriate feedback to the individual. If you are a software expert, you might want to study a software language like Authorware from Macromedia (count with aprox. 1/2 year), if you are more focussed on ease of content production, try EasyGenerator or another of the about 35-40 existing authoring tools.
