Happy new year everybody!
This month we're focusing on learning technologies, so my question is: how are you going to be using technology this year? Is it about innovating, making more efficient use of the technology you already have, or are you implementing brand new systems and hardware in your work?
Get in touch beneath :)

Technology month
Hello Jon
Our challenge at work (I work for a county council) is attempting to design and implement a new online performance management reporting tool – we have some HR self service already for all staff, but not yet for managers to report on performance management info. It's been a challenge designing the spec for that whilst not being technical experts at this (not in that sense anyway!) and our current challenge is how not to get fleeced by providers. I was talking about this today with my boss – I likened the experience to going to a car garage as a 'typical' clueless-about-cars woman, with some random car fault, and not knowing what on earth the mechanic is on about – or knowing whether what he is quoting is reasonable or not, but guessing vaguely that it probably isn't.
Is that the sort of challenge you were expecting? (If not, I do apologise!!!)
