A hectic week last week, but a productive one. HRD dominated proceedings, as both TrainingZone and HRzone decamped to Kensington Olympia for talks, sessions, seminars, demonstrations and ruminations. A different prospect to Learning Technologies, primarily because the majority of the subject matter was different (of course) but also because it was in a different building. The layout of Olympia 1 is vastly preferable to Olympia 2, and this impacted very positively on one's ability to navigate the buzzing throng and get where one needed with minimum distraction - no mean feat considering my caffeine psychosis.
Both Charlie (HRzone editor) and I met lots of great people and made several new contacts which I have no doubt will bring great benefit to both sites in the future.
Which brings us to this week, where I am mostly making sense of all the business cards and scribbles that I made in the two days last week, preparing bulletins and editing vox pops. You can re-run the fun of HRD right here (right hand side, halfway down).
And on a slightly different note, join me as I welcome Charles Jennings to host this month's free webinar, 'Learning Is the Work: Supporting Learning in the Workplace'. Sign up here, if you haven't already.
