Belbin Team Roles…more than just theory.

The focus will be on sharing well-proven approaches that have an impact on the following issues:

  • Helping individuals form productive working relationships.
  • Selecting and developing high-performing teams.
  • Raising self-awareness and increasing personal effectiveness.
  • Making the transition from competence to excellence.

This morning session will be limited to 30 forward-thinking managers who have responsibility for business performance and who recognise that they need to improve the way they manage people and thus enhance their own performance.

The Team:

She facilitates UK and international team-building projects, is responsible for Accreditation in Team Roles and teaches on European leadership programmes. She has over 20 years wide-ranging consultancy experience in human resources and organisational development with boards and throughout the organisation. Her focus is on using the Team Role model to increase individual, team and organisation effectiveness in the light of strategic business objectives and to enable improved interpersonal communications, particularly during times of major change.

Barrie Watson: Before joining Belbin UK as a Non-Executive Director, Barrie was a director of a number of businesses, some of which he built from scratch. He describes himself as an instinctive entrepreneur and practical “hands-on” businessman with a passion for unleashing the potential of people. Barrie’s vast experience, enthusiastic presentation style and his emphasis on “practical applications” of new practices and techniques makes him a much sought after speaker at management seminars and conferences around the world.

Jo Keeler: As Business Director of Belbin UK, Jo is responsible for managing strategic and operational activities and building the Belbin brand both in the UK and worldwide. In addition, Jo has worked closely with Meredith Belbin for over 12 years and has been at the forefront of the many developments that have taken place to make Belbin the global success it is today.
