The impact of coaching in business

default-16x9

Hello,
I am aware there is some great stuff on coaching on this website, but there is very little in terms of actual results, apart from those from the Coach's Diary. How do you know is coaching is working in your bisiness? Can it's impact be measured?

I'd really appreciate your thoughts,
Kind regards,

Nikki Brun

  1. Coaching Impact
Great question. I think the extent to which individual businesses can measure the impact of coaching, like any other form of learning and development is to:

Be clear at the outset what the problem or issue is

Be clear about what will be different after the intervention

Measure over a period of time

There is research that suggests that the Return on Investment (ROI) from coaching is between 500-700%. There is also a recent report stating that coaching is now being used more as a Leadership Development Tool.

Personally, I believe that coaching is just one of a range of personal development tools and it is important to find the right tool for the job.
