"March is the month of expectation,
The things we do not know,
The Persons of Prognostication
Are coming now.
We try to sham becoming firmness,
But pompous joy
Betrays us, as his first betrothal
Betrays a boy."
- Emily Dickinson, XLVIII
March. Fully in the swing of the new year by now, March is, as the poem says above, often a month of expectation. A time to make plans, be it planning the route map for your professional development over the course of the year or just booking the summer holiday. It is sometimes characterised by madness ('as a March hare'), murder (Julius Caesar was killed on 15 March) and occasionally features articles about desks. Other highlights from TZ's March were another great TED talk and more quality coaching advice. Let's hope March 2011 proves as fruitful.
