The Times set to charge for use of website

default-16x9

The Times have announced that they intend to start charging customers who use their website an annual fee of £10.
The next couple of weeks will see the Times launch the initial stage of it's plans and, if successful, becoming the first UK newspaper to charge for online content. Plans to have further subscribing sections are also in the pipeline once a suitable system for payment is in place.
The Times are confident that their loyal readers and site users will not be put off by this nominal fee because of their valued content and high profile within the industry.
