The Khan Academy. Coursera. edX. Udacity. We're all pretty familiar with MOOCs these days, even if most of us aren't actively taking part in them. Kate and I have covered them in recent podcasts, and in theory they're educational game changers, for want of a less jargonistic epithet.
Well all that theorising is about to change. I've signed up to this.
At a paltry 5-7 hours a week for five weeks I reckon I can handle it, but will I be one of the 7.7% who finishes? Or will I succumb to my own apathy (and a very busy publishing schedule) and become part of the 92.3% who doesn't? Updates to follow…
