Tiny Computers to move manufacturing to Scotland

PC company Tiny has said that it will move the manufacture of its PCs from China to Scotland. No reason was given for the move. The company’s MD, Andrew McWalwyn said that the move would mean a reduction in the cost of Tiny PCs. Douglas Alexander, Minster of State for E-Commerce and Competitiveness said “This decision by Tiny should send out a clear message to the global IT industry that the UK has the skilled people and infrastructure necessary to maintain and grow high technology operations,”
