Hi, I am wanting to do a refresher train the trainer course as I have previously done the course some 20 years ago and although I have trained throughout those years it was in the capacity of a Senior Operational Role. I am now looking for a career change as a trainer. I live near Rugby and wondered if anyone could recommend a course which focuses more on Presentation Skills

My company runs an open schedule for TTT events as well as Presentation Skills etc.
Alternatively if you want one that is closer to home you could try looking on Trainerbase (www.trainerbase.co.uk).
If you are serious about the career change it may be worthwhile actually subscribing to Trainerbase anyway from a professional point of view. They run something called the Certified learning Practitioner (CLP)

My company, Matrix FortyTwo, provides Train the Trainer open courses in Northampton which is relatively close to Rugby if you can’t find anywhere closer.

Training Foundation Course

I attended a Training Foundation Delivery skills Refresher Course last year in Coventry. I found it very practical as you get filmed and get feedback and the groups are small. I liked the calibre of our trainer who was extremely focussed and the training was fun. They also run other courses so you can build up to further qualifications with them. I don’t know any of the other companies mentioned so far so don’t know how they compare but hope this is helpful.
