Trainer qualifications

default-16x9

I am a training manager for a call centre based in the north east, and would like to further my professional qualifications. I have the CTP and dont fancy an NVQ. I have heard about the diploma in training & development but am having difficulty finding suppliers in my area.

Could anyone advise?

Thanks

  1. Trainer Qualifications
I went through the same process and decided to do the Diploma in Training and Development offered by University of Leicester’s Centre for Labour Market Studies. The Diploma course is a year long and split into six modules, one of which is a work based project – all of this is offered through distance learning with tutor support. If you complete the course, successfully, a further two years study will qualify you with an Msc in Training and Development. I completed the Diploma just over a year and half ago, yes distance learning is hard going at times but I gain so much from this study and when money and time allow I will complete the extra two years. I would recommend you approach them for information rgarding this course, their telephone number is 0116 252 5950 – Good Luck

    Lisa,
You will be able to find details of most of the trainer qualifications available in the UK by visiting the public website of the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning at http://www.traininginstitute.co.uk

If you click on Training Qualifications on the left hand navigation bar you will find UK trainer qualifications listed under Certificate, Diploma, and Masters Degree levels.

  3. Leicester Unversity rocks.
I started the diploma course last month along with 32 others and enjoying it. The hard bit is the cost but they let you pay in enstallments. Let me know if you need details

  4. Leicester Uni gets the vote
I am doing my MSc in Trainig through leicester Uni – distance learning but hey – do it at your pace – costings – get a CDL from a street bank. Do Diploma and keep going to MSC only other route worth it if you are practicing – NVQ – I know but easier than you think – I know!!
