Hello,
I am part of a customer services training team, and we have recently had a step up plan signed off which is enabling us to drive high peformance and people engagement. We have set ourselves goals and objectives that will hopefully change some outward perceptions of us around our business with this in mind we have come up with a new brand and logo for ourselves, however we cannot think of a new "team name".
We are currently known as the "cs training team", has anyone got any ideas of what we could re brand our name as??
Thanks
Frances

Some ideas ….
Hi Frances, not very inspiring on my part but I did a quick check for alternative words and came up with:
Replace Customer with Shopper, Consumer or Shopping (depends on your industry)
Replace Services with Experience or Skills
Example: Consumer Experience Training Team
But I’m sure you’ll get some better offers. 🙂

I guess the most successful names are those that genuinely reflect the purpose and capabilities of a team and yet give an eye-catching edge without just being spin.
How about:
CS Learning Solutions
Business Learning Services
People Learning & Performance
Training for Results
CS L&D
Customer First Training
Customer Service Improvement Learning (ie CSI Learning)
ServiceLearn
….
Best of luck

link?
since the company is RSC why not go for something that…..
a) Replicates this; rsc= relationship skills coaching?
b) Reflects it; csr= customer service raisers?
c) Mixes it up; crs= customer relationship skill?
or since you are in teh electronic manufacturing business why not link in electronic terms such as Customer Service Transformers?
All of this is assuming you are still with RSC!

Hi Frances
Interesting challenge there, my question is what image would you like a new entrant to have of what your team delivers simply by hearing the name of the department?
My advice would be to keep it simple & pick one that enables a good visual to go with it. Also check for what the initials spell out.
Off the top of my head & based on your brief description, what about the People Performance Team?
Good luck & don’t forget to let us know what you go with.

Training function name
Hi Frances
I personally abhor any title that involves the word ‘Training’. Your team obviously deliver more than training, enhancing customer delivery, facilitating employee development, improving communication, and so on.
Facilitator is a much abused term, also.
What about something on the lines of Customer Relations Support Team?
