Training IT staff prior to outsourcing

I'm about to start work on a project which will probably end with an IT department being outsourced to another company. I will be working on the HR team looking at the training requirements.

At this early stage, I was wondering if anyone knows of any resources online or offline which deal with this.

Note that it's training required prior to outsourcing - not the outsourcing of the IT training!
