Hello again
Some of you will remember my previous posts about advice for an interview for a training manager post. Well I was interviewed on 22 March and to date have heard nothing back so I am assuming that I haven't been successful. The selection process was tough and long, I was there for 3 hours! It consisted of a 15 minute test based on Belbin's Team roles model and then 2 presentations :
1. How as TM would I ensure a quality service was delivered to service users
2. Demonstrate the significance of Adult Learning Theory when designing a one day training event.
and then about 1 hour of questions including such vague questions as how would you go about developing a corporate training strategy? I would have thought that was at least 2 grades above my grade!
Anyway I have written and asked for feedback. Thanks for all help. Better start checking out the jobs pages again.
