Does anyone have any benchmarks of metrics such as training spend per employee, training hours etc, especially wihtin the FMCG area?
Thanks

Although there are some differences across sectors the main differences come from size of organisation, how L&D is managed (eg internal versus external provision; coaching culture versus high elearning component), the varietal factors (eg variety of locations; diversity of roles/products/people) and the business model of the company (eg Ryanair v BA; Woolworths v Selfridges).
On that basis I would use and benchmark data you collect as a means to stimulate your thinking for what you might do in your organisation, and not as a standard or target you can just copy.
