I am devising a strategic top down business plan for a multi sited UK wide organisation with 5000 employees. I am looking for some benchmarked good practice surrounding training plans and what key factors should be included, emphasis on deliverables, measures and links to business objectives.
What should be included and excluded and how are the costs of the plan determined.

Industrial Society
The Industrial Society provides a number of benchmark reports and advice – most of which is only available to members, but some of these can be bought. The quality of the work carried out by the Society is exceptional and may be able to help.

PS – I have no connection with the Society whatsoever, other than as a member.
Public Sector training plan
I could send you an example of a strategic training plan but its a public sector one & probably not business orientated enough for you!Let me know if of interest.
training strategy
I have been scanning trainingzone looking for information on training strategies and found your posted question. I too would like a copy of Liz Robinsons strategy, as I work in the puiblic sector, but I can’t find an email address for her.
Would you be kind enough to send me her email address.
Thanks in advance.
