i am currently looking at various further education courses in training and have come across the City & Guilds 7307 or 7306 levels iii & iv in teaching and training (the JEB diploma- is this the same thing?). Does anyone have experience of this qualification or any information relating to this course.

Routes for more information…
Vivienne,
You may be able to get some background from the city and guilds web site at http://www.city-and-guilds.co.uk – it gave me some help today and there is an email contact address to request more. I had a trainer in a past team who completed the JEB and found the syllabus and experience a good grounding as she entered the IT Training area.
On a more general note, try the CIPD web site (www.cipd.co.uk) and learndirect (www.learndirect-futures.co.uk) sites for more info/searches on training routes. http://www.dfee.gov.uk gives you NVQ info too. Hope this helps a little.

7307
I have done the 7307 part 1, and have found it to be an excellent course – well worth doing. It is very practical, can be applied to almost any learning environment, and is highly regarded. I particularly found the reflective practitioner approach helpful.
(I did it as a refresher having been in teaching and training for some time, and still learned stuff)
