Training Strategy Template

default-16x9

I'm looking for a simple template to help in the construction of my sales training strategy.

I've got most of the content but would appreciate some guidance on the best way to present this (initially in written format) to the Sales Director).

Regards

  1. Simple is definitely best
The way you present your information will depend on a number of things like what was the original remit and what did the senior managers ‘perceive’ this remit to be. I have experienced in the past times where the final report etc seemed to fit the remit given to me but having posed further questions to those receiving it, found out they had a totally different view and just hadn’t expressed it.
Also, what is their knowledge of the subject matter you’re putting into a strategy. If they don’t know that side of the business really well, ‘dumb it down’ as far as possible and use things like bullet points instead of lots of text. If they know the subject matter well, you can get a bit more technical but still keep the text to a minimum. Hope that helps. Can’t be more specific without knowing what your ‘content and remit’ are but am happy to discuss further if you think it’ll help so give me a ring. 01757 705349.

  2. Model your content
    Hello Tony,

I would suggest modelling your written proposal on the process you intend to use in the sales training. If you have a Sales Model that you will be using (e.g. SPIN or similar) then this would be an ideal way to showcase your content. Nothing works better in sales than demonstrating how the product works – and your written proposal should demonstrate how effective your sales training is.

    All the best
