   Brian,

   this is likely to change by industry. You can get details of the top 10 skills required in Information Technology in a quarterly report produced by Computer Weekly in the form of a skills survey they do by analysing the most frequently sought skills in their recruitment ads section.

   I would imagine that other trade publications could do the same for you.

   They are currently conducting the 2002 skills survey so you may want to keep an eye on their website for the results.
