When did you last receive or offer praise? Judging by the
comments posted to Michael Massey's The Way I See It this week
the consensus seems to be that Brits need some training in the
art of giving motivational praise.

Jane Smith offers the suggestion of using a three-to-one ratio of
praise to development comment, or three stars and a wish, as she
puts it. While Peter Hunter puts forward a practical exercise to
help create the discipline of giving praise that he says can
deliver great results.
