A TrainingZONE eye view
=======================
With all the hype surrounding e-learning these days, a passing
alien would be forgiven for thinking that distance learning is a
recent phenomenon, but they'd be wrong. The Open University is
just one of many providers which have been successfully helping
learners to develop knowledge and skills flexibly at their own
pace through the TV or through the post for many years. The
British Association of Open Learning has been representing
distance learning training providers since 1990. In an
interview with TrainingZONE this week, BAOL tells us about the
work they've been doing in partnership with the DfEE, and
explains how the challenges of e-learning are affecting those
who work with more traditional methods of delivery.
